At this stage we have collected all information available about snow and ice cover monitoring practices from the different National Services in each European country. We would like to ask for your support by providing us with information on the Protected Area you manage or your research area that could be relevant for planning a potential Copernicus European Snow & Ice cover Monitoring service. Therefore, we would very much appreciate if you could fill in any information in the questionnaire attached. It is divided into two parts: 1) Information on existing snow & ice cover monitoring activities; 2) Needs and advises for a future monitoring service. Please use this questionnaire as an opportunity to express your opinion, needs and areas of interest regarding the future European snow and ice cover monitoring service. We would very much appreciate if you could send the questionnaire back to us by next Friday, 31st March, to Alaitz Zabala and Joan Bauz?.
