[ELIXIR-ITA_ml] Deadline postponed: ELIXIR-IT workshop on Metabolomics Approaches for ‘One Health’ - Milan, 30-31 May 2024

The deadline for applications to the upcoming workshop Metabolomics
Approaches for ‘One Health’ (Milan, 30-31 May, 2024) has been postponed to
7th May 2024. Please see below for details.

COURSE ANNOUNCEMENT

CNR and Milano-Bicocca University, in collaboration with ELIXIR-IT, is
pleased to announce the upcoming workshop Metabolomics Approaches for ‘One
Health’.

The workshop focuses on experimental design and sample preparation matrix
enabling junior and senior scientists to apply metabolomics approaches to a
research-based context.

Attendees will be guided through mass spectrometry-based experiment
designs, learning about cutting-edge equipment and different technical
procedures for metabolomics.

The workshop is designed for both scientists approaching metabolomics and
those who want to increase their knowledge and competencies through open
discussions with experts in this field.

*IMPORTANT DATES:*

- *New deadline for application:** 7th May 2024*

*- New deadline for abstract submission (see below):  7th May 2024*

- *Acceptance of abstracts will be notified within 24 hours of submission*


VENUE:

Location: University of Milano-Bicocca, Department of  Biotechnology and
Bioscience, room U3-04, Piazza della Scienza 2, Milano.

FEE:

Academic: EUR 130

Industry: EUR 130

Undergraduate and PhD students: EUR 70

The fee covers coffee-breaks and lunches.

Participants are expected to pay their own travel and accommodation costs
(if any).

Social “Aperitivo”:

Participants who wish to attend the social dinner on Thursday 30th May,
should add 30 EUR to the fee.
