ELIXIR-IT has organised a one day workshop entitled “Sharing Human Data for Biomedical Research: Technical, Legal and Ethical Considerations”, where a series of national and international speakers will present technical, legal and ethical perspectives on the issues surrounding the exchange of human genetic data for biomedical research, particularly in the context of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We believe that these presentations should be of interest to both PIs and junior researchers working with human genetic data, and those interested more generally in legal/ethical issues associated with biomedical research.

The program is included below.

This workshop will be held at the Dept of Biosciences of the University of Milan on the 22nd February 2019 (sorry about the short notice). Registration is free, but strongly requested, and can be performed at https://www.eventbrite.co.uk <https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/> (event ID: 56099754877). Light lunch and coffee will be provided.
